Deciding between a touring caravan and a static caravan
Purchasing a caravan, whether it is a static or a touring type, can cost an arm and a leg. Before making a purchase as significant as this you want to be absolutely sure that it is the right one for your needs. When it comes to choosing a caravan, there are a pair of options. In this article, we are aiming to help you decide between touring and static caravans.
When choosing between a touring and a static caravan, the most important thing to bear in mind is what you intend to use your caravan for. Both static and touring vans have their advantages, but the experience of holidaying in one can be very different to the other.
Static caravans have space, and so they are a superb option for those looking to holiday with family and friends. Comfortable they may well be, but a static model restricts you to a single caravan site. If you opt for a static caravan, then the key is to find the right site, which you will be happy to visit time and again for a relaxing break.
A touring caravan allows you to go lots of different places, so if you want to do this, then a touring caravan will be more suitable for your needs. With a tourer, you can simply attach it to you vehicle and drive any place that takes your fancy.
Although touring caravans offer far more freedom when it comes to vacationing, they require some extra effort on your part. For example, you may need to think about whether you can tow it with your current vehicle, and extra equipment will be required, including a tow bar so that you can transport your van.
If you think a touring caravan is right for you, then there are essentially a couple of options. You can either choose a caravan that you have to tow or the other choice is to buy a motorhome that combines a mobile home with a vehicle. Camper vans are a lot pricier than a towable caravan, but they are easier to manoeuvre.
If you think a static caravan is right for you, then your next port of call is to check out the static caravan parks in your area.

Should I let my 15 year old daughter go to the Van's Warped tour concert?
What goes on there?
What should I tell her to watch out for, I have never been to a concert myself, other than the Beach Boys??
It's great music!!! and it's just a really fun outdoor festival. I'm only 13 and I've gone twice. And this year i'm going with no adults, just my older cousin. Warped is really fun, and totally safe. Just make sure your daughter doesnt go off with those "i hate everyone" type of kids there. and if you go, you'd probably enjoy it too 
my dad went with me last year when i went to visit him in fresno & he asked me to get him a ticket for this year's. you're daughter would love warped so you should definitely let her go
