Do Navy SEALs have frequent sea tours?
I don't know how long a shore or sea tour is, but do tours apply to spec ops? I mean, would the SEALs really stay on a carrier for months at a time? I thought if they weren't at CA/VA they'd be inside a country of their assigned region... i.e. I met a SEAL who said after he got his Trident he was assigned, to Team 2 i think, he spent most of his career in Europe and occasionally he went to VA... never said anything about sea tours, although of course a SEAL might have a pit stop on a carrier, but would he really stay there for long?
Seals are on the same sea/shore rotation as the rest of the Navy.

The sea tour means he is able to deploy to meet the needs of his team. During the shore roatation he will stay put at the command to which he is assigned.
