I am tasked with building a tv stand to carry 15 kg tv and to be turned sideways remotely.which motor type?
i'm helpless please.can someone help with motor types i can use and the controls.also what best sites can help me with wiring and schematic diagrams for the set up.All suggestions are welcome and i have really run out of time.Please help, i have not much experience with using a variety of electric motors.
This is much more of a mechanical project than an electrical project.
It dependy greatly on what you're planning to do from the mechanical side.
Possibly a linear actuator.
If you're planning to use a typical rotating type thinger, you don't need a very big motor, just some gear reduction. A small permanant magnet motor would be good. A cordless drill motor plus a little extra gear reduction could do the trick... Some limit switches to stop the motor at the end of tralel might also be good.
