Hit Better Shots With Your Irons(I)
Most good golfers will agree that irons have a large range of uses on the golf course. For this sole reason golf irons are the most popular clubs in your bag. Golf irons could make up more than half the number of clubs that you carry.
Set up the ball and begin hitting the balls. With these golf irons, you can generally shots varying between less than 200 to 100 yards in distance from the green. Irons are comparatively difficult to master and that's why the driving iron (or 1-iron) and the 2-iron are generally left out of standard clubs in any famous brand like TaylorMade r7 XR Irons However, just for this reason, don't be afraid to handle your irons! In case you are a little tentative with them, here I post valuable tips to help you along in your play:
Firstly, don't try and master the irons as the first thing in your golf game. They are pretty tough to handle. That is why beginners are advised to leave them alone to start with. Don't even think about the 1- or 2- iron! And, for good measure, you might even try substituting the 7-wood or 9-wood clubs as replacements for the 3- and 4- irons in their TaylorMade r7 TP Irons. These woods produce an equal distance when used right and, most importantly, are much easier to handle.
However, expert golfers would love forged irons as they are far more controlled and have more "feel" than their cast counterparts. Also, if you swing your club relatively slowly and therefore cover a relatively shorter distance, you might consider switching to a graphite shaft as it's much lighter than steel and can greatly improve the speed of your swing.

a brillo pad is the best thing to use...a scourer will scratch the bottom of the iron..after you have used a brillo pad rinse it well and then after iron get hot use an old cloth to iron first...happy ironing....
