Anyone bought Bushnell Medalist rangefinder?

Yes, and I love it. Had the Sport 450 first and it's great when the pins have the laser reflectors like our course, but it's not quite as accurate when they don't. (Obviously all courses don't have yardage reflectors). The Medalist is cheaper than the Pinseeker and it's a little smaller. I have used the Pinseeker also, and it's a great device, too, but it's bulkier and if you carry your bag or walk, it's a little big to put in a carry bag. No problem with most of the guys I play with as they ride.
The pinseeker technology from Bushnell rocks as far as I'm concerned. And I like the laser better than the GPS/Sky caddie types because they are not as pinpoint, but they still work well. You just don't have to pay an annual maintenance fee like you do with SkyCaddy.
By the way, rangefinders are now legal in tournaments if allowed by local rule. That was a new USGA allowance in 2007. PGA doesn't allow except during practice rounds but the caddies use them and they have exact pinsheets. Most local tournaments I know allow their use. I always offer my playing partners the use, if they want it.
