The Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy Review
In recent years, toy manufacturers have been experimenting with plush animals that have toggles embedded in them that activate pre-set sounds when squeezed. This technology has now made its way into the children's toy market, and one of the results is the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy. This is an adorable little stuffed puppy for children as young as six months old, and it has several toggles situated throughout its body. There's a toggle on each paw, a toggle on its tummy, a toggle on its right ear, and a toggle on its nose. Each of these toggles are situated on a different colored body part, and these colors all play a part in the child's learning experience with this toy.
The Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy has 2 different modes of play. It can be in music mode, where each toggle will initiate a different sound or song, and children will love singing along and laughing at all the funny and silly sounds. It can also be put into learning mode, where each squeeze of a toggle will teach children about the parts of the body, the colors of those body parts, as well as the alphabet. This little electronic plush puppy has a wealth of games to play and songs to sing, including favorites like "Head And Shoulders Knees And Toes", and "Itsy Bitsy Spider". The Learning Puppy also recites rhymes, such as the "This Little Piggy" rhyme when his foot toggle is activated, except that the rhyme is cleverly edited to say "This Little Puppy" instead, making changes throughout for a fun novelty rhyme experience.
The Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy loves to be hugged and cuddled and will let any child know how much their love is appreciated. In order to keep a child's attention, the puppy will spontaneously come out and say things to the child while it's being played with so that children can interact with it on a personal level as though it were a real little animated puppy. The Learning Puppy is also very brightly colored, which will appeal to very young children. It's ears are green, it's nose is red, and it has one purple paw, one green paw, one yellow paw, and one orange paw. It's also wearing a red shirt with differently colored letters of the alphabet printed on it. This helps children get used to the way alphabet characters look, and there's even some spelling. The word "TUMMY" is written on the Learning Puppy's tummy, the word "FOOT" I written on the yellow hind paw, and the word "HAND" is written on the green hand. The right ear also has the word "EAR" spelled out on it.
Over all, this adorable little puppy toy is a great tool for encouraging children to think about the alphabet, colors, and body parts. Children love how interactive and adorable the puppy is, and parents love how it's educational and helps reinforce learning concepts in their children as their young minds expand and grow. And at around $20, it won't break the bank either.
