For a lot of golfers the TaylorMade R9 460 driver will be just what they have been waiting for. Unless you are a low handicap golfer you probably found the head of the standard R9 driver a little on the small side at 420cc. This is because that is the maximum size of head for moveable weight drivers. With the R9 460, TaylorMade have removed this option and you just have the adjustable Flight Control Technology which allows you to adjust the angle of the face of the clubhead relative to the shaft. We prefer this kind of adjustability as it seems to have a greater effect on ball flight and in the TaylorMade R9 460 driver it works well. With 8 different positions for the shaft, there should be one to suit you and the adjustment with the single screw and wrench is easy to understand and change.

Difference Between Stock Driver Shaft and Aftermarket?

Im wondering what the difference between a stock fujikura shaft and an after market Fujikura shaft it. Okay, my driver has a Fujikura Motore F1 Shaft that came from the factory. Is this the same as a Motore F1 shaft that is aftermarket??

-Also please recommend one of the following and why - Fujikura Motore F1 - Adila Voodoo - Fubuki

A shaft sold as "stock" (standard) is designed to flex to fit the majority of players. Custom shafts offer variety and more options to match swing or launch conditions. - Golf Digest. July '09

basically, even though there's an Aldila VooDoo made for Titleist (for example), and just a normal Aldila VooDoo, the "made for" version is going to have different torque ratings (among other things).

If your Motore F1 doesn't have the "made for " or any other way of listing the clubhead's brand on it, then it's a "normal" F1.
